The 2014 Tamil film Veeram as Bachchan Paandey (formerly named Land of Lungi), directed by Farhad Samji, was once intended to be remade with Akshay Kumar. But afterward, he rewrote the plot of Bachchhan Paandey to be an imitation of another Tamil movie called Jigarthanda. Samji changed the plot of Veeram before pitching it to Salman Khan,
Salman Khan (Bhaijaan) agreed to star in the movie because Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment had the rights to both movies. bhaijaan was ready to produce the movie under his production company Salman Khan Films after Nadiadwala later abandoned the project and granted the rights to khan productions.
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is the name of the film, which was unveiled on January 10, 2020. It was ultimately revived under the rumored Bhaijaan, but the COVID-19 outbreak resulted in a very long delay and numerous pre-production problems. But in August 2022, the film’s title Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was made public.
This film’s main image was started in May 2022 and completed in Dec 2022 with film-taking areas in Ladakh Mumbai and Hyderabad for principal photography. It will be released once more on April 21, 2023, which also happens to be Eid.

The shooting of this film starts in Mumbai and later it was completed in Hyderabad and Ladakh. from May to Dec 2022. A song and several scenes were shot in Ladakh. and before that production was in Hyderabad. The film’s production was to be completed by Dec 2022.
